These Apple Fritter Doughnuts have a golden, crisp exterior and a fluffy-apple-filled inside. They’re made with fresh apples, tons of apple cider, and it’s doused in the most delicious vanilla bean glaze.
Apples and doughnuts are such a magical combination. Then you add the vanilla bean, and it’s out of this world. It’s so out of this world that I ate 3 of them, pretty much straight out of the fryer. Let’s just say that the glaze hadn’t yet set, and the Apple Fritter Doughnuts were already in my tummy!
I ended up running 12 miles the next day, and I rewarded myself with one more Apple Fritter Doughnut. I vowed that the next time I make these Apple Fritter Doughnuts I’m going to package them up and send them out of the house!
To get the full recipe for these Apple Fritter Doughnuts, you can find it here. I’m sharing it at The Tastes of Lizzy T’s.
